So, up front, this is a hoax, ok?
It's not real.
Just in case you needed confirmation.
I'm making this up.
So, let's go…
I hacked your computer files and I've found everything you ever downloaded.
Before you freak out, this is not about finding anything personally embarrassing. I had no interest in your personal photos or financials – nay, I went straight for the business jugular: all those files you downloaded that represent training you meant to study or PLR you bought and never even unzipped.
Now listen… what I found there is deeply concerning.
I'm worried for you.
I'd compare what I found it to an avid Crafter's Craft Closet… full of fabric, yarn, vinyl sheets, and doo-dads bought with every intention of using but put away to create a more productive work space – you know what I mean.
But it's worse than that.
It's like I've opened my Aunt Po's ‘other craft room' door. You know, the one filled to the brim with totes of unopened craft kits, stray supplies and half finished holiday projects?
It's time for an intervention.
Because, like Aunt Po, you're not going to stop buying new stuff because hello, the world is going to keep on creating something awesome you NEEEEED!
No day is coming when you're going to return to all that stuff and actually use it. Noooo. It's going to stay right where it is until your computer dies suddenly and you realize the back up drive you bought to store it all on has also given up the ghost – or you can't find the proper connection cables.
On that day you'll fuss and curse and shake your fist at the horror of it all – and then it will dawn on you… that the loss is actually a good thing.
You'll realize you're glad to be set free from the evidence of your past habit of Buy It, Download It & Forget About It.
“JUBILEEEEE!” You'll cry with joy, feeling the weight lifted.
Feel that lightness?
Imagine with me… a world where you USE what you buy.
Other people live in that world. I do and it's truly wonderful!
I buy very little and while I don't use every single thing I've ever bought – I promise you I have reviewed it and made a mindful choice. I do not defer this process for some mystical someday. I do not fill hard drives or cloud storage with ‘I'll look at this later' purchases I've made. The moment I decide I'm not going to use something, I pass it on.
If it's a sweater, I donate it.
If it's a digital product, I put it in the trash can and hit delete.
Going beyond what I buy, if it's an idea, I let it go.
It's a good life. Maintaining a minimalist attitude towards digital resources has served my business well too.
I don't live under the weight of what I was going to do so I'm free to do what I want.
Doesn't that sound amazing?
What if you don't wait for a critical equipment meltdown to set yourself free from all the crap you're holding onto?
What if you declared Digital Jubilee right now?
I'd like to help.
Think of me as a one of those Hoarders TV show specialists crossed with a bit of that cute Marie Kondo.
I'd love to come right over, sit down with you at your computer and go through files one by one, helping you sort and choose.
What stays and what goes – and how will you organize what stays so that it's primed for USE?
I'm damned good at organizing myself, I promise – I know I can help you get your virtual spaces spiffed up.
But what I'm really good at… is hitting the delete key.
And friend, let me tell you, if you invite me over – we'll be using that delete key a LOT.
It's fun actually. A heck of a lot funner than packing up trash bags and making a trip to the drop off center.
Are you ready for this adventure? You in?
LOL! Well, you know I can't just come over. Even if we weren't under a travel lockdown, I don't live in your city and it's not practical for me to zoom all around the world for this…
But I do have a Zoom Room and I'm not afraid to use it!

Digital Jubilee, oh wow, I love that. I do have tons of classes I’ve not gotten around to taking yet ………
What’s next then?
Do you crave accountability? I think you’d love my Momentum Coaching Mastermind Tamalita :)
Love this. And let’s just say if you hacked me you would definitely find Aunt Po’s ‘other craft room’ door! It’s NOT pretty! I have soooooo much PLR that I haven’t even unzipped. The silly thing is, I just keep buying it… telling myself ‘ooh one day I’ll use this!’ And well, of course that one day never comes ;-)
Digital jubilee – how fun!
Oh maaan, I need to come konmari your PLR closet!
You’d find Aunt Po’s other craft room literally and digitally lol But, I’m being better about buying new things and immediately using them. When I buy I’m purposeful and try to be honest if I can put it into use tomorrow. I know if I don’t do it immediately then it will just go to the sad PLR graveyard of files.
Nooo! Say it isn’t sooo!
Forget the graveyard – incinerate!
Thanks for this push to clean up and clean out I have no issues doing that in other areas of my life but in my digital word well, that’s another story and now that you have helped me recognize it, it’s time to clean.
I just had a flash of your having to pack up your PLR and store it in your new RV. If it were actual paper, you’d be a HELL Nooooo ;)
