What if you sensed a great idea bubbling up, began to see how it would work and simply LEAP into action?
Well, you probably did that at one point in your life. Kids are great at following their creativity.
Chances are though, you've ran into someone who asked you: “What makes you think you can do that?” It's phrased like a question but it's really more of an accusation.
I make up that they're really saying, “Hey, I wanted to do that!” (But didn't have the guts… or was waiting for permission.)
Similar questions are “Who do you think you are?” and “Who told you that you could do that?”
Unless you work for them, you don't owe them any explanations!
Don't hold back. Chase those creative urges. I celebrate your guts and motivation!
